The Miami International Airport handles over 35 million people a year. It is the 10th world largest cargo airport making it one of the busiest airports in the country,<\/p>\n

The Miami International Airport is conveniently located in an unpopulated part of the country which is very easy to get to. This is the international gateway for American Airlines which means if you take an American Airline flight from your point of origin, you can have a straight, non-stop flight to Miami.<\/p>\n

There are other airports nearby that is not as busy but caters to the Miami bound tourists which is the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, the Kendall-Tamiami Airport, and the Opa-Lock Airport.

By Sea<\/h3>\n

The Port of Miami is also one of the largest ports in the country. It also has one of the largest cruise ship ports in the world. This means you can also get a lovely cruise from your point of origin and the chances are most likely that it will dock in Miami.<\/p>\n

Some of the more popular cruise ships that dock here are the Oceana Cruises, the Carnival Cruise lines, Norwegian Cruise line, Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises, Crystal Cruises, Windjammer Barefoot Cruises, and the Costa Cruises.<\/p>\n

This port has been called the \u201cCruise Capital of the World\u201d as well as the \u201cCargo Gateway of the Americas.\u201d Two years ago, it accommodated over 3.7 million traveling passengers, and 7.8 million tons of shipped cargo from all across the globe.<\/p>\n

By Land<\/h3>\n

Naturally, it is the easiest to enter Miami by land. It is the southern end of the Amtrak service and its final station is in the station at Hialeah, Miami.<\/p>\n

You can also get into Miami by your car or by renting a car. This is an adventure that can turn nasty when trying to maneuver into and around Miami with a car. This is because last 2007. Miami was considered to have the most rudest drivers in the entire country. Drivers were considered to be extremely aggressive, shifting lanes without warning, and endangering the lives of many people in the process.<\/p>\n

Thus, if you plan to travel to Miami by land, you can always use the cross country railway system or buses that end up in Miami or pass through the city.
